Call for 2008 BPS Outstanding Dissertation Award Submissions
The BPS Division will sponsor the Award for Outstanding Dissertation Research in Business Policy and Strategy again in 2008. Any doctoral dissertation addressing the area of Business Policy and Strategic Management completed between February 1, 2007 and January 31, 2008, and not previously submitted for consideration may be entered. The completion date is defined as when the degree is completed and awarded. A dissertation can be submitted simultaneously to the BPS Division and to other divisions if it fits within each division's domain statement. The BPS domain statement can be found at: www.bpsdiv.org/html/domain_stmt.html. Interested persons should submit their entry electronically as follows:

Committee Members: Please provide a ten-page, double-spaced summary of the dissertation. In addition, you may also include a small number of tables within an appendix. Please remove any author-identifying information from the summary to facilitate the blind review process. Submissions must be received by Monday, February 11, 2008. Submissions by fax will not be accepted. Entrants selected in the first round of evaluations will be requested to send a file with the completed dissertation in mid-March 2008.
